Baahubali actor Prabhas’ long-delayed mythological behemoth Adipurush is getting ready to hit the screens on June 16th. Directed by Om Raut, the film is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana and Prabhas reprises the role of Lord Rama in it.
Ever since the first glimpse of Adipurush came out last year, there has been a lot of criticism on the director and other technicians because of its substandard VFX effects and tacky graphic work. Due to widespread negative responses from all quarters, the makers are forced to postpone the film to a new date.
Even after taking six months of additional time to come up with impressive output, the team of Adipurush couldn’t fully satisfy Prabhas’ fans as the recently unveiled poster evoked a mixed response. So, this is the reason why fans are continuously tagging Raut on social media and hurling abuses. Sources close to the director revealed that he is not happy with the negative campaign and demeaning messages he has been getting from fans.
Om Raut has reportedly instructed his team not to give any feelers to fans and to keep them away from the publicity campaign of Adipurush. A few days ago, he came to Hyderabad but didn’t give any information to fans during his visit to a temple.
It seems like Om Raut is deeply hurt by the wrath of Prabhas’ fans and decided to ignore the negativity surrounding the project and go ahead with his plans.
