Hyderabad: Former Member of Parliament and senior BJP leader Jayaprada is currently missing after a non-bailable warrant was issued by the Rampur court in Uttar Pradesh. The warrant, a consequence of alleged contempt of the election code of conduct, has intensified the legal woes for Jayaprada.
Despite repeated directives, Jayaprada failed to make an appearance at the court hearing, prompting the court to issue an arrest warrant against her. The court has set a deadline for her appearance, instructing the police to locate and present Jayaprada before January 10. The Rampur Police have initiated an active search operation to locate the prominent political figure.
