Veteran actor and comedian Fish Venkat is currently undergoing treatment for severe kidney-related complications at a private hospital in Boduppal. His health condition has reportedly deteriorated, prompting an urgent need for a kidney transplant. Actor Vishwak Sen has extended financial support of ₹2 lakh to Venkat’s family, earning praise for his timely assistance.
Speaking to the media, Venkat’s daughter Sravanti stated that both of her father’s kidneys have failed and he has been dependent on dialysis for the past few years. Doctors have now recommended an immediate transplant, and the family is actively searching for a suitable donor. She added that the cost of treatment has become a heavy burden and the family is facing serious financial hardship.
Meanwhile, the family dismissed reports claiming that actor Prabhas had extended help, clarifying that no such assistance had been received. “It appears someone circulated false information. We are confident that if Prabhas learns about our situation, he would certainly support us,” they said. The family has made an emotional appeal to members of the film industry to come forward and help during this difficult time.
