Hyderabad: Actor Jitender Reddy, popularly known for his role as ‘Chinna’ in the film Shiva, recently shared insights into his career and personal life in an interview with Suman TV. He rose to fame with the film and continued to work in several other projects, eventually transitioning to television when movie opportunities dwindled.
Reddy recalled how the industry gave him recognition and provided opportunities to portray significant roles. “The industry offered me great recognition, and I was fortunate to play memorable characters. Later, I primarily worked in serials and received four Nandi Awards for my television work. After entering the industry, I got married, and we have two daughters, both of whom are well-settled and married,” he stated.
In a heartfelt moment, he spoke about his late wife, recalling her kindness. “She was a wonderful person, someone who truly embodied goodness. She never allowed guests to leave without having a meal. She struggled with a neurological condition that confined her to a wheelchair for five years. Eight years ago, she left me, but every day begins with me placing flowers in front of her photo as a tribute,” he shared.
