As we all know that Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s much-awaited mythological starrer Shaakuntalam finally graced the theaters earlier this morning. With much expectations, Gunasekhar’s epic directorial will now be available in every major city from today onwards.
Apart from Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Shaakuntalam has a stellar cast including Mohan Babu, Dev Mohan, Madhoo, Aditi Balan, Gautami, Ananya Nagalla and others in vital roles. Allu Arjun’s little girl and one of the popular star kids in Tollywood, Allu Arha has also played a crucial role in the film thus marking her debut in the film industry.

As we know Shaakuntalam is based on the popular play Abhignyana Shakuntalam by Kalidasa featuring Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the princess Shakuntala. Tollywood productions houses Gunaa Teamworks and Sri Venkateswara Creations have jointly produced the film.
