Following a short break to make a thoughtful choice of his next film, Sudheer Anand, who is widely referred to as Sudigaali Sudheer, has officially announced his fifth venture, Hai Lesso. The film is billed as a gripping rural drama and is the directorial venture of Prasanna Kumar, with Siva Cherry and Ravikiran producing the venture.
In the film, Shivaji plays the antagonist role, creating immense drama and tension. The lavish launch ceremony was full of star power; actor Nikhil unveiled the title of the film, and veteran director VV Vinayak, clapped the first shot. Bunny Vasu handed the script over to the team, while eminent industry personalities Vassishta Mallidi, Chandoo Mondeti, and Meher Ramesh attended the event as special guests.
The title poster of Hai Lesso immediately grabs attention with its mythological and intense imagery. It depicts a foot adorned with gold ornaments resting on a lush leaf, surrounded by a chilling sacrificial arrangement — rice, hen, goat heads, and a blood-stained sword — reflecting the high-stakes drama the film promises.
Hai Lesso stars Natasha Singh and Naksha Saran as the lead heroines, along with Akshara Gowda and other prominent actors. The music, composed by Anudeep Dev is expected to enhance the film’s overall depth. The film is set to release in all four south Indian languages, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam, in what they call a Pan Indian release, to get people across south India interested in viewing this gripping story set in rural India.
