For some time, speculations have been rife about Nora Fatehi making her debut in Kollywood with Kanchana 4. The actress has now officially confirmed the news in a recent interview, putting an end to the rumors.
Speaking about the project, Nora said, “When this offer came to me, I felt it was the right project to be introduced to Kollywood. I really liked the script, and the Kanchana franchise already enjoys great popularity among audiences. After Madgaon Express, I wanted to do something in a similar genre, and that’s when Kanchana 4 came my way. Acting in a new language is always a challenge, but I love challenges. I’m working hard to learn Tamil, just like I did with Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam. I’m putting in extra hours, and the team is helping me with the language.”
Sharing her perspective on different film industries, Nora added, “Every industry has its own style. Kollywood is keen on telling unique stories, while Bollywood focuses more on large-scale narratives. I’ve learned new things from both.”
Kanchana 4 is directed by and stars Raghava Lawrence. Reportedly, actress Pooja Hegde will be seen playing the role of a hearing-impaired woman in the film.
Nora, who has earlier impressed Telugu audiences with her special songs in films like Temper, Baahubali, and Loafer, also played a key role in Matka.
