In a shocking turn of events, a massive financial fraud has surfaced involving Bollywood star Alia Bhatt’s former personal assistant. The actress, who has generated a sizable fan base in the South with blockbuster RRR and is presently in production for her next film Alpha, is now indirectly associated with an unfolding scam.
As per reliable sources, Vedika Prakash Shetty, who was earlier closely associated with Alia as her personal assistant and subsequently joined her production house with new responsibilities, has been accused of perpetrating financial fraud of around ₹77 lakh. Vedika has allegedly tampered with Alia’s signatures, prepared fake bills, and doctored accounts for misappropriating funds over time.
The embezzlement of funds allegedly went undetected for several months before discrepancies were picked up in an internal audit. After the issue was raised, a complaint was lodged, and Vedika was arrested by the authorities.
