Former child actor Ravi Rathod, known for his brief but memorable role in the film Vikramarkudu, has drawn widespread attention following a recent interview in which he spoke about his current struggles and his past association with actor and filmmaker Raghava Lawrence. Now working as a set worker, Rathod revealed that he had once been adopted and supported by Lawrence, but failed to make use of the opportunity.

I met him during the shoot of Mass and got him admitted to a school. Later, I was informed that he had left after a year. I searched for him, but couldn’t find him. Now, seeing him after all these years is emotional,” he said. “He mentioned in the interview that he feared I would be angry. But I just want to see him once. I won’t scold him—I only wish to meet him. Please come and see me. I’ll be waiting,” he added.
Rathod, who has acted in over 50 films as a child artist, shared that he lost his parents a few years ago and now lives with friends. He said he left the hostel during school holidays and never returned, eventually distancing himself from the opportunity provided by Lawrence.
