Actress Ananya Nagalla, known for her roles in content-driven Telugu films, recently opened up about a deeply personal phase in her life. In a recent interview, she revealed that while she has grown accustomed to handling professional setbacks and criticism, a breakup early in her career left a lasting emotional impact. She said she struggled with the pain for nearly two years but ensured it never affected her professional commitments. “I would cry all night and still head to the gym in the morning. I’d cry in the caravan and come out like nothing happened. Even my family was unaware—only my close friends knew,” she shared.
Ananya also revealed that she is currently working on a female-oriented project in Bollywood. She made her debut with Mallesham in 2018 and earned critical acclaim with her very first performance. She went on to play a key role in Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab and has since appeared in a variety of films including Shaakuntalam, Tantra, and Darling. Most recently, she received the Gaddar Special Jury Award for her performance in Pottel.
