Jr. NTR is all set to reunite with the visionary filmmaker SS Rajamouli soon. Having shared a blockbuster collaboration with a successful track record with multiple past projects, including RRR, the duo appears poised to collaborate on another ambitious venture.
Recent buzz suggests that Jr. NTR is set to headline a biographical epic of Dadasaheb Phalke, often hailed as the Father of Indian Cinema. Initially made an announcement by SS Rajamouli in 2023, the film titled ‘Made in India’ will be produced by Varun Gupta and SS Karthikeya.
In an interesting detail, according to Pinkvilla, it is reported that ever since the announcement, the team has been setting the script, and recently it has been finalized and locked in the draft as Made in India. SS Rajamouli, SS Karthikeya, and Varun Gupta pitched the script, and Jr. NTR showed interest in being part of it.
A source close to the project shared, “Jr. NTR was deeply moved by the unknown tales of Dadasaheb Phalke’s journey. The narrative captures the birth and rise of Indian cinema, and Jr. NTR was particularly impressed by the depth and detailing in the script. While Jr. NTR has reportedly given a nod to the project, official agreements are still pending.”
On the work front, Jr. NTR is set for his Bollywood debut with ‘War 2’ alongside Hrithik Roshan and Kiara Advani. Additionally, he is currently busy working on Prashanth Neel’s project, tentatively titled ‘Dragon.’
