Income Tax (IT) officials launched extensive raids on the properties of prominent Tollywood producer Dil Raju early this morning. Raids are being conducted at his residence and offices in Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills, as well as at properties linked to his brother Sirish and daughter Hanshitha Reddy.
Dil Raju’s wife, Tejaswini, confirmed the inspections, stating that the searches are related to his film production activities. She revealed that all requested documents, including financial records and bank details, were handed over to officials. Additionally, she disclosed being escorted to a bank by the IT team to open lockers, which were thoroughly inspected.
The raids are not limited to Dil Raju’s properties. IT teams are also inspecting Mythri Movie Makers’ offices, the residences of producers Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar, and entities like Mango Media, Satya Rangayya Finance, and producer Abhishek Agarwal’s establishments.
A total of 65 teams are conducting simultaneous searches at eight locations, including Jubilee Hills, Banjara Hills, Gachibowli, Kondapur, and HITEC City. The operations are ongoing.
