The superstar Rajinikanth joined forces with Mani Ratnam for the first in his career in 1991 and delivered a cult classic blockbuster, Thalapathi.

Rajinikanth’s impeccable performance and Mani Ratnam’s terrific narration and direction have garnered the acclaim of the masses. This iconic gangster drama has the Malayalam star actor Mammootty in a significant role. Thalapathi has been a path-breaking film for the trio in their careers.

This iconic film is going to be re-released on December 12, 2024. Marking the occasion of Thalaivar’s birthday, this film is going to be released across Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. Shobhana, Aravind Swamy, and Amrish Puri are seen in pivotal roles. Ilayaraja has given the music for this film.
