Actress Sai Pallavi is making her Bollywood debut with the film Ramayana. In this context, she made some significant comments regarding the role of PR agencies in the industry. She noted that many actors in Bollywood often sign contracts with PR agencies to stay in the limelight.
During the promotions for Amar, she shared that a person from Bollywood had called her when she was stepping into the industry and inquired whether she would hire a PR team to promote herself. “The person asked if I would hire a PR team to ensure I stay in the news and keep people talking about me. I felt that it wouldn’t benefit me at all because if people constantly talk about me, it might eventually become tiresome for them. That’s why I told him I don’t need anything like that,” Sai Pallavi stated.
Her remarks have gone viral on social media, with many commenting on how Bollywood celebrities often remain in the news due to their PR teams.
The Ramayana project is being prestigiously directed by Nitesh Tiwari, featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita, with Yash portraying Ravana. Currently, the film is in the shooting phase. As for Amar, it is based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was martyred in a terrorist attack. The film stars Sivakarthikeyan alongside Sai Pallavi and is set to be released on October 31 as a Diwali treat. The promotional materials released so far have captured the hearts of cinema lovers.
