The buzz in Tollywood is that Ram Charan’s much-anticipated film ‘Game Changer’ is set to release during the Sankranthi season. Directed by Shankar, this political action drama is being produced on a grand scale by Dil Raju. At a recent event, the renowned producer shared an interesting behind-the-scenes story about the challenges of securing the film’s title.
Dil Raju revealed, “When Shankar suggested Game Changer as the title for Ram Charan’s film, we immediately began checking its availability across all languages. Since it’s a PAN-Indian project, we wanted a single, consistent title everywhere. However, we hit a roadblock, one language didn’t have the title available. After several discussions with the filmmakers who held the rights, we finally managed to secure it. Only then did we make the official announcement.”
He further explained, “This is the tricky part of working on PAN-Indian films. You can’t have different titles for each language. If another industry already has the title registered, it becomes a real challenge to acquire it. It often leads to lengthy negotiations with those holding the rights.”
