Vijay Thalapathy’s recent release ‘GOAT: The Greatest of All Time’, helmed by Venkat Prabhu, achieved remarkable success in the original version (Tamil) in Tamil Nadu and fell short of expectations in Telugu states, Kerala, and the North. The film amassed an impressive Rs 450 crore worldwide, with Rs. 156 crores from overseas markets and Rs. 210 crores solely in Tamil Nadu.
‘GOAT’ was released on September 5 and recently completed 25 days in theaters and is still running in some theaters in Tamil Nadu. As its theatrical run nears completion, the movie is scheduled to release on the OTT platform.
Popular streaming platform Netflix, which bagged the digital rights earlier, has now announced the OTT release date, revealing that the film will be premiered in OTT from October 3 in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
Produced by AGS Entertainment, this high-budget action thriller stars Vijay Thalapathy in dual roles, with Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead. The film also boasts a stellar cast, including Prashanth, Sneha, Prabhudeva, Mohan, Jayaram, Laila, Ajmal Ameer, Vaibhav, Premgi Amaren, and Yugendran in pivotal roles. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the musical tunes for this flick.
