Congress government whip Adluri Lakshman Kumar accused MLA Malla Reddy of spreading false propaganda against the Congress party. Adluri Lakshman Kumar stated that he had purchased 600 yards of land in Survey No. 82/E in Suchitra in 2015. Along with him, six others, including BRS MLA Beti Subhash Reddy and other BRS leaders, had made a sale deed from Sudhama. Sudhama, who sold them the land, claimed to have purchased it in 2000. When they requested a land survey, then-Minister Malla Reddy obstructed their efforts. Adluri Lakshman Kumar clarified that they sold the land to Srinivas Reddy in 2021 based on records provided by the collector.
Adluri Lakshman Kumar mentioned that they have had a High Court injunction order since 2016. He alleged that Malla Reddy used his power within the BRS to commit acts of violence and questioned why the injunction order was not enforced. Adluri Lakshman Kumar accused Malla Reddy of land grabbing and promised to address the issue with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. He emphasized that Malla Reddy is falsely accusing the Congress party of being involved in a land dispute. Adluri Lakshman Kumar claimed to have met Malla Reddy and Rajasekhar Reddy several times to resolve the issue, but despite not owning the land, Malla Reddy is forcibly seizing it through violence.
