Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) senior leader and MLA Kadiyam Srihari, accompanied by his daughter Kadiyam Kavya, who withdrew her candidacy for the Warangal Lok Sabha seat, engaged in discussions with senior Congress leaders on Friday. AICC in-charge Deepa Dasmunshi, along with AICC secretaries Rohit Choudhary and Vishnu Nath, visited their residence and extended an invitation to join the Congress party.
Srihari, former Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, stated to the media that he would consult with his supporters before making a decision. Regarding the departure of several leaders, including MP K. Keshava Rao, from BRS, Srihari acknowledged that the party is losing traction for various reasons. “People are drifting away from BRS for various reasons. To better serve the public and make a positive impact on the constituency, we need to make a decision,” he remarked.
