Kavitha, currently under ED custody related to the Delhi liquor scam, is undergoing interrogation by authorities. Concurrently, she has retracted her writ petition filed in the Supreme Court challenging the ED’s summons issued to her. The petition, lodged on March 14 last year, was withdrawn during today’s proceedings in the Supreme Court, as stated by Kavitha’s lawyer Vikram Choudhary. He argued that a hearing on the writ petition was unnecessary. Justices Bela Trivedi and Pankaj Mittal accepted the withdrawal of the petition. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has initiated hearings on another petition contesting the legality of Kavitha’s ED arrest.
