Anakapalli: Nara Lokesh addressed attendees at the TDP’s Shankharavam meeting held in Anakapalli, expressing concerns about volunteers spreading misinformation about the party. He refuted claims suggesting that TDP would abolish welfare schemes if elected, emphasizing the party’s commitment to continue and expand its welfare initiatives, including the “Super Six” schemes benefiting all segments of society.

Lokesh criticized the lack of road repairs during the YSRCP’s tenure, citing instances from his Yuvagalam padayatra where no action was taken despite raising concerns. He warned against reelecting leaders like Jagan Reddy, alleging mismanagement and corruption, claiming that Jagan’s promised “navaratnas” had failed to materialize. Lokesh questioned the government’s progress in the past five years, highlighting unfulfilled promises regarding housing for the poor and allegations of corruption related to hall tickets and mark sheets.

Furthermore, Lokesh criticized the inadequate power supply in the state, questioning the leadership’s commitment to public welfare. He concluded with a rhetorical question, questioning the integrity of those who mistreat their own family members while claiming to support the public.
