Tollywood’s maiden superhero film Hanuman scripted history at the box office as it emerged as the highest-grosser of the Sankranti season in 92 years. While the film, directed by Prashanth Varma, continues to pull in decent revenues even three weeks after its release, some interesting facts about the lead actor Teja Sajja’s journey keep coming out.
In one of his recent interviews, Teja Sajja revealed that he declined as many as 70-75 offers to concentrate solely on Hanuman in the last two and a half years. He added that around 15 of these offers could have been turned into promising projects. However, he has no regrets for losing them because his hard work paid off as Hanuman brought him pan-India laurels and elevated his stardom to a whole new level.
Teja Sajja’s commendable performance as Hanumanthu received plaudits from all quarters. Teja is a familiar face to Tollywood audiences because he impressed with his acting skills as a child actor in numerous films. With Hanuman, he turned into a reliable actor in the second tier. He is likely to be flooded with more offers in the coming days.
Teja will next appear in the second superhero film of Prashanth Varma, Jai Hanuman which is likely to hit the screens next year.
