Varun Tej to appear in 4 different looks

Promising Mega hero Varun Tej, who had a forgettable outing with his previous film Gandeevadhari Arjuna, is very determined to make a strong comeback this year with two big-ticket films. While his upcoming patriotic drama Operation Valentine is set for release on February 16th, he has just started shooting for another interesting film Matka, a period entertainer set in the backdrop of Vishakapatnam.

Matka is going to be a challenging film for Varun because the character he plays in this film has different dimensions. He will appear in four contrasting get-ups and he has undergone a phenomenal transformation that will be a talking point after the film’s release.

In the recently released glimpse titled ‘Opening Bracket’, Varun Tej’s impressive makeover resembling a retro look was showcased briefly. His body language and mannerisms are going to be poles apart from what he demonstrated so far.

The teaser of Matka is filled with captivating visuals and an absorbing set-up but doesn’t give any hint about the main plot. But, speculations are rife that the film is inspired by real-life incidents that happened in Vizag a couple of decades ago.

Matka has Palasa fame Karuna Kumar as the director. Meenakshii Chaudhary is the female lead.
