After a disastrous outing with Liger, Vijay Devarakonda reunited with his ‘Geetha Govindham’ director Parasuram Petla for a complete family entertainer titled Family Star. Tollywood’s ace producer Dil Raju is backing this crazy project which is scheduled for release during the Sankranti season.
On the eve of Diwali, the makers of Family Star dropped a new poster in which the lead pair, Vijay Devarakonda and Mrunal Thakur, appeared in a traditional avatar as they celebrate Diwali together. Wearing a Kurtha Pyjama, Vijay appears in a classy look and the Sita Ramam beauty complements him with an elegant saree.
The pair looks absolutely dazzling in this poster as they together lit a flowerpot during Diwali celebrations in a scene in the film.
The first teaser presented Vijay as a complete family man who has no inhibitions in doing household chores that a usually associated with women. He also demonstrates his masculinity to send shivers down his opponents.
The shooting formalities are progressing at a brisk pace as the team is very determined to release the film for Sankranti festival despite heavy competition from other biggies.
Gopi Sundar is scoring the soundtrack for Family Star.
