A sigh of relief for Telugu Desam Party supremo Chandrababu Naidu as the AP High Court has postponed the hearings to October 18.
As we all know, the advocates of Chandrababu Naidu have filed for anticipatory bail in the IRR case to which the AP CID has filed a counter as to why he shouldn’t be granted. The High Court has adjourned the final arguments to the day after tomorrow. Citing the irregularities in Amaravati’s Inner Ring Road alignment case in the previous government regime, the AP government has included Chandrababu Naidu’s name as he is the main culprit.
The lawyers of CBN filed an anticipatory bail last week and it came to a hearing in the court last Wednesday. After hearing the arguments, the Court has directed police not to arrest CBN until today and also passed interim orders regarding the same. The HC has also directed the ACB court to withhold any orders on the PT warrant.
