APSRTC hikes bus ticket charges

APSRTC hiked the bus ticket charges due to increased crude oil rates all over the world. Dwaraka Thirumala Rao, MD of the APSRTC, stated that due to the increased petrol rates, the AP government has increased the ticket price charges on transport. As per the sources, Pallevelugu buses increased by Rs. 2, express services increased by Rs. 5, and AC buses increased by Rs. 10. The minimum fee on rural buses has been raised to Rs 10.
