In a milestone experiment where pig kidneys were successfully transplanted into a human is going viral on social media. Going into the story, The University of Alabama (UAB) academics released their detailed procedure of the experiment. It is stated by the university that the pigs kidneys were harvested from genetically engineered pigs in order to make the kidneys transplantable into a human.
