On Monday night, in a tragic incident, five people were killed and several were injured in the Srikakulam district. According to the sources, a few passengers in the Secunderabad-Guwahati express train pulled the chain when they saw the smoke coming from one of the coaches. After pulling the chain, many tried to cross the tracks in fear, unexpectedly, the Bhubaneswar-Mumbai Konark Expressed coming in the opposite direction ran them over. Five people succumbed to death on the spot while many others were injured.
