Story
The film follows a struggling flop actor (Akshay Kumar) and a huge, quirky film crew that lands in a village near a jungle. What begins as a fake, high-budget film project produced by a corrupt businessman intent on laundering black money turns into a real-life hostage situation by a terrorist.
The rest of the film shows how the film crew comes to know the truth and saves the villagers from the terrorist group.

Akshay Kumar tries his best to entertain with several self-satire scenes about his own career. Raveena Tandon, Suniel Shetty, Johnny LeverAnd Paresh Rawal make crucial contributions to the comedy of the film.
Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Rajpal Yadav, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandezand others deliver outstanding performances in their respective roles.
Welcome to The Jungle Review – Analysis
Led by Ahmed Khan“Welcome to the Jungle” is a nonsensical comedy that does its best to provide hilarious moments. The first half starts out somewhat okay, but it tries too hard to elicit laughs.
Several characters take a while to be introduced, and the filming and training sequences don't create the comedy they were intended to. Akshay Kumar's The recent comedy Bhooth Bangla faced similar pacing issues in the first half.
The film gets underway when filming shifts to a village in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, cleverly named Azad Nagar, where a terrorist (Jackie Shroff) behaves like Gabbar Singh.
The way the villagers' situation and the film crew's confusion mix to create funny situations works well. The tragicomedy dynamic in between Farida Jalal And Kiran Kumarwhich uses gibberish and a deep Urdu accent (with the intended satire of how Muslim characters are portrayed in Bollywood films) turns out to be the best aspect of the film. Both characters provide entertaining moments in the second half.
The pre-climax twist and some references to popular TV shows and private songs also work well, but the climax action episode feels stretched and could have been avoided.

“Welcome to the Jungle” has some comedic moments. Akshay Kumar and the ensemble cast does their best to entertain with decent music. But the ride could have been a lot more enjoyable if the script and comedy were more authentic.
