Kollywood actor Vijay Sethupathi reunites with filmmaker Aarumugakumar for their second venture together after the 2018 comedy film, ‘Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren’. This time, the duo is back with a romantic crime comedy titled ‘Ace’.
Backed by Aarumugakumar under the banner of 7Cs Entertainment Pvt. Ltd., the film features ‘Sapta Sagaradaache Ello’ fame actress Rukmini Vasanth paired opposite Vijay Sethupathi in this flick. The cast also includes Yogi Babu, Divya Pillai, Babloo Prithiveeraj, BS Avinash, and others in significant roles. The technical crew includes Justin Prabhakaran as the music composer, with visuals by Karan B. Rawat and editing by R. Govindaraj.
Set against the intriguing backdrop of Malaysia with a gambling-themed storyline, the film’s teaser and songs have already sparked anticipation among fans. The makers have now announced the release date, revealing that ‘Ace’ will hit theaters worldwide on May 23, 2025, promising a summer entertainer for movie lovers.
They have shared the announcement on social media platforms with a new poster featuring Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi in an intense look and gun in hand. They captioned the post, “BrACE yourself. The ultimate action spectacle is here. ACE hits theaters on MAY 23 – prepare for the Ride of 2025!”
