Everyone has the freedom to express their own opinions on social media. But if that opinion is inconsiderate, it will boomerang and the one who expressed it will need to face the ire of netizens. That is what now happening to Tollywood producer Naga Vamshi.

Naga Vamshi watched James Cameron’s latest offering ‘ Avatar: The Way of Water’ and said ‘James Cameron orders us to watch a Marine biology documentary.  And because it is 3D and him, it is a “Visual Spectacle”! All we are allowed to say is “Mastercraft” and “Blockbuster”, anything else, Na’vi won’t accept’.

Vamshi’s tweet received huge flak from Telugu moviegoers who launched an offensive against him for making fun of what is a visual extravaganza with exceptional technical bravura. As soon as Vamshi tweeted his opinion, many started abusing him through replies and quotes. He has been at the receiving end for his remarks and many have questioned what

are the iconic movies made under his production house so far?

Vamshi’s home banner Haarika and Hassine Creations and his own production house Sitara Entertainment are fond of making movies mostly with director Trivikram Srinivas. Netizens have slammed Vamshi for producing films with Trivikram who has the habit of plagiarising stories from Hollywood movies. Being a notable person from the industry, it is quite needless for him to openly criticize a film like ‘Avatar: The Way of Water’

Naga Vamshi is currently working with Trivikram Srinivas for Mahesh Babu’s next film.
