A New Diet Shows Promise for Crohn’s
Scientists from Stanford Medicine and other schools tested a special eating plan called a fasting-mimicking diet (FMD). It’s not about skipping meals forever—instead, you eat very few calories (around 700 to 1,100) for just five days each month, with plant-based foods. The rest of the month, you eat normally.
How the Experiment Worked
