SIT Summons BJP leader in MLA poaching case

The sensational case of 4 TRS MLAs poaching by alleged BJP-linked members has taken a shocking turn as the SIT sent a summons to four persons including the Telangana BJP leader Santosh.

In a surprising turn of events followed by the arrest of three members who were accused of trying to by four TRS sitting MLAs, the Special Investigation Team formed by Telangana Home Ministry headed by Nizamabad Superintendent Rema Rajeswari, many names surfaced when the accused Ramachandra Bharati aka Satish Sharma, Simhajayi, and Nandakumar were interrogated. They have given multiple names in different ways like arranging travel, funding for stays, and other means. The SIT asked T-BJP state General Secretary Santosh Kumar in this regard to appear before the Police Investigation Control Room on 21st November or else he shall be arrested. Others like Kerala doctor Jaggu Swami, BDJS President Tushar Vellapally, and a lawyer named Bhusarapu Srinivas who is a close relative of Telangana BJP head Bandi Sanjay Kumar were also sent the summons and asked to appear for the deep probe.

The case came to the light when one of the four TRS MLAs, Pilot Rohit Reddy gave a tip to the Cyberabad Police and the department was immediately arrested for trying to buy these MLAs for a whopping amount of 100 crores or more. BJP tried to transfer the case to CBCID but the High Court of Telangana rejected the plea and asked the SIT to give them a detailed report in sealed cover on the 29th of November to give a final hearing.
