Friday, April 25, 2025
Get ready for an exciting musical treat! The highly anticipated second single, “Raa Macha Macha,” from Ram Charan and Shankar’s Game Changer, is set to drop on 30th September. The makers unveiled this release date during an exclusive interview featuring the master storyteller Shankar alongside the sensational music director Thaman. Fans can look forward to a sneak peek promo, which will be released on 28th September. As the director noted, this track serves as the film’s intro song.
Shankar shared insights into the creative process behind this vibrant celebration, stating, “I conducted extensive research on the music and culture of Andhra Pradesh, and we also integrated cultural elements from other states to provide something special for the audience.”
The director elaborated on the diverse dance forms incorporated into the song, mentioning, “We included Gussadi, Kommukoya, and Tappeta Gullu from Andhra Pradesh, along with Ranapa and Ghumra from Odisha, Hallaki and Goravara from Karnataka, Paika from Odisha, and Chhau from West Bengal.”
Shankar emphasized his desire for the song to be visually stunning while also having a unique sound. “I discussed this vision with Thaman, and it’s designed to be a celebration. Ram Charan is an exceptional dancer, and the choreography was created by Ganesh Acharya Master. While I’m unsure if I should reveal this, I can say that Ram Charan danced through an entire BGM in a single shot. The music brilliantly captures a blend of elements and cultures from various states, making it a real treat for Charan’s fans.”
Thaman added, “Bringing together the diverse cultures from Srikakulam to Rayalaseema was quite a challenge, but ‘Raa Macha Macha’ turned out to be fantastic for us. We filmed the song with 1,000 dancers, and I believe once it releases, people will groove to it and embrace the rich culture of Andhra Pradesh.
