Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani is the latest crime comedy from the Telugu film industry. Produced by Shivaji Presented by ETV WIN, the film was initially scheduled to be released directly on OTT but was released in theaters on March 6.
Story
Shriram (Shivaji) is an honest Panchayat Secretary who never involves himself in corruption or bows down to anyone, be it an MP or a Minister. His family consists of wife Uttara (Laya) and son Mithil (Rohan). He is constantly frustrated by her chaotic behavior.
As fate would have it, Uttara and Mithil get involved in the local SI Vikram's murder case (prince). The rest of the story follows how Shriram deals with the situation and tries to save his wife and son from murder charges.
performances
Shivaji does his best to carry the film on his shoulders, but the weak script doesn't give him a chance to show his talent. Laya tries to make an impression, but her character lacks solid moments or proper writing.
Shivaji And Layas The chemistry remains intact – they still look good as the main couple even after so many years apart. Unfortunately, they needed a much better script to shine.
Rohans The character doesn't work at all and seems more annoying than endearing. Dhanraj And prince are sufficient while Ali, Kadambari KiranAnd Sharath Lohitashwa deliver decent performances.

ETV WIN has earned a good reputation among the industry and viewers. Everyone believed that any film supported by the platform would be good.
director Sudhir Srirams 'Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani' was expected to be a solid, content-driven film – a nice crime comedy with emotional touches. The execution does not correspond to the intention.
The opening sequence, in which the protagonist describes the chaotic behavior of his wife and son, seems promising. Unfortunately, the film doesn't turn out as expected.
Except Shivaji And Layas Chemistry, nothing really works. Rohanwhich impressed audiences in the 90s biopic, fails to replicate the magic here. His character seems more irritating than innocent or funny.
The crime thriller aspect raises hopes for the second half, but the film continues in the same random mode. There are no funny moments, which increases the boredom.
The concept of a family bonding over a corpse is reminiscent of Drishyam, but the comparison ends there. Sampradayini Suppini Suddapoosani is neither an emotional crime drama like Drishyam nor does it offer any hilarious moments.
