Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is gearing up for another festive treat — this time, with a wholesome family entertainer set to hit screens during Sankranti 2026. The film is being helmed by Kishore Tirumala.
The production kicked off in Hyderabad today, with shooting underway on a specially constructed set. Ravi Teja has begun shooting along with the lead actors, as the crew embarks on what they assure will be a perfect mix of emotion, comedy, and mass appeal. Touted to be a clean family entertainer with the spirit of festivals, the movie is said to go into the rural backdrop with rich emotional undertones.
This script is different from Kishore Tirumala’s previous movies in that it is supposed to provide something new — retaining his emotional storytelling but also loaded with good commercial content. As per sources, the movie is being charted out to appeal to all age groups of audience by providing a combination of laugh-out-loud humor and emotional content.
Interestingly, this is the first time Ravi Teja and Kishore Tirumala will be working together. Backing the project is producer Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner, and he is said to be going all out with a big budget and no compromises on quality.
Slated for a Sankranti 2026 release, the film is already generating strong buzz in the distribution circuit. With Ravi Teja’s mass appeal, a promising emotional core, and the festive release slot, this film could be one of the major highlights of the 2026 Sankranti season.
