Following the recent terror attack in Pahalgam, tensions between India and Pakistan have intensified. Amidst this sensitive backdrop, actress Rashmika Mandanna has extended her support to the Indian Armed Forces through a series of posts on social media.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Rashmika reshared a message that drew attention to the ethical line between provocation and necessary self-defence. The post stated, “Wanting peace doesn’t mean staying silent and accepting harm,” underscoring the importance of questioning those who endorse terrorism.
In another post, she shared a video clip from a speech by Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. The video emphasized that merely being good is not enough to bring change in the world. Rashmika added the caption, “Be kind. But don’t be good beyond necessity,” signaling her implicit endorsement of India’s right to protect its sovereignty.
Through these posts, the Pushpa actress joined a growing list of public figures lending moral support to the armed forces during a time of national concern.
Other film industry personalities, including Shraddha Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher, and Vir Das, also expressed solidarity with the Indian military through social media, many concluding their messages with “Jai Hind.”
