Telangana Finance Minister Harish Rao the other day presented the budget of Telangana with Rs 2,90,000 crores of rupees and within no time, the schemes were ridiculed by the opposition parties of Telangana in the Legislature house.
The Leader of the Congress Legislature Party, Bhatti Vikramarka declared that the budget and the ground reality were not matching as the numbers were inflated and made to look like the BRS are real saviors of the state. Ridiculing the schemes of BRS, Bhatti claimed that there was no truth in KCR’s camp regarding the 24-hour free electricity as in reality, the farmers only get five hours per day. Slamming the budget allocated for the weaker sections, Vikramarka stated that only Rs 6000 plus crores are allocated among the humongous Rs 2,90,000 crores of budget indicating how badly they care about the poor sections of the state.
The BJP Minister Kishan Reddy supported the claims of Congress by declaring the budget was a hoax as the numbers were inflated just like any other year by the BRS. He alleged KCR of spending thousands of crores on just advertisements of BRS wasting public money which was more than the Aarogyasri for the poor. The BJP head of the state, Bandi Sanjay declared that the budget was a juggling of numbers which is miles away from the ground reality of BRS’s governance. All in all the BRS which is set to expand its horizons across the nation is tasting the hurdles from its rivals already.
