An arrest warrant has been issued against former minister and YSRCP leader Perni Nani. The Machilipatnam court has issued an arrest warrant as part of a case. In 2019, the police registered a case against TDP activists Chandu and Sriharsha. Perni Nani is a witness in this case. With this, the Machilipatnam court has ordered Perni Nani to appear in court several times in this case.
However, Perni Nani did not appear in court for consecutive adjournments. Later, the Machilipatnam court ordered the police to produce Perni Nani in court during the next hearing. The Machilipatnam court has adjourned the hearing of this case to September 19.
In the wake of the coalition government already trying to arrest him in several cases, the Machilipatnam court has unexpectedly decided to issue an arrest warrant against him in a minor case. With this, he is facing a situation where he must appear in court.
Former Bandaru MLA Perni Nani was a witness in a case registered against a TDP activist named Chandu Sriharsha during the YSRCP government. However, the trial in this case is going on for a long time. Perni Nani, who is a witness, is not attending the court adjournments.
After waiting several times, the court on Monday took a decision by issuing an arrest warrant against Perni Nani. With this, the police are going to produce him in court. Although several hearings have already been held in this case registered in 2019, it seems that they are not making any progress as Perni Nani, who is a witness, did not appear.
With this, the Machilipatnam court has decided to issue an arrest warrant for Perni Nani in the latest hearing. To this extent, there are chances that the police will produce him for further hearing with the court’s orders. It is significant that such a warrant is issued against Perni Nani in a case where he is a witness, not in the cases already registered against him.
