Maa Inti Bangaaram is an action comedy-drama starring Samantha in the lead role, comes to cinemas today on June 19, 2026. Doctor Anirudh (Diganth) returns home after eloping and raising an orphan, Swarna (Samantha Ruth Prabhu), for his sister's marriage. The couple tries to rebuild their relationship with the family. But Anirudh and his family know little about Swarna's secret past and her connection with a dangerous criminal, Karuna (Gulshan Devaiah), who is in prison.
The rest of the story is about how Swarna saves her family from danger while dealing with the wounds of her past.

Samantha plays the lead role and her screen presence and performance are decent. Even though there is nothing particularly challenging about the character, she still leaves an impression with her acting. However, their synchronization feels weird here and there.
Gulshan Devaiah plays the second crucial role in the film, but the character doesn't give him any scope and he's underused throughout. Gautami, Anand, Krishna was afraid, Sreemukhi, Gavireddy Sreenivassenior actress Srilakshmiand others are fine in their respective roles.

During promotions, director Nandini Reddy explained that Maa Inti Bangaaram To Samantha is something Basha is according to Rajinikanth. The story of the film is certainly similar: the protagonist has a violent past but wants to live a peaceful life with his loved ones.
The story offers enough scope to deliver a captivating action drama with highs and emotions. However, Nandini Reddy and the writer Raj only partially succeeds in achieving their goal. The film starts simply and the funny scenes between Swarna and her friend during the cooking sequences work well.
The action parts could have been handled better. Some effective introductory scenes or build-up scenes to these sequences could have made them more effective. The flashback part is too standardized and doesn't deliver the expected rush or thrill.
The second half starts well with the scene between Swarna and Karuna. The bus fight is probably the best scene in the film. Afterwards there are some emotional and dramatic moments, with the part before the climax working well.
The climactic fight seems lengthy, but it provides a decent ending to the film. Overall, the film doesn't have many bad parts, but it lacks in taking the storylines to the next level.

Maa Inti Bangaaram is a watchable effort that could have been much better with a stronger script and a tighter script. Samantha's Screen presence, a few captivating moments and a decent climax fit in well. While the film offers a reasonable action drama experience, it isn't the career-defining film it wanted to be.
