The music composer MM Keeravaani is currently having the best time of his life after the Oscar win for Naatu Naatu. Making it even more special, the Telugu composer now got a memorable surprise from the American pianist and singer Richard Carpenter of The Carpenters fame which made our Keeravaani at the top of the world.
Richard released a new video on his social media handles congratulating the oscar duo MM Keeravaani and Chandra Bose. The video showed the popular songwriter playing the piano while his family members are singing the new version of ‘Top of the World’.
Sharing the same on his Instagram handle, Richard wrote- ‘To @mmkeeravaani and @chandraboselyricist: Heartfelt congratulations on your win for Best Original Song. Here is a little something from our family to you and yours.’
Reacting to this beautiful video, Keeravaani’s brother and RRR filmmaker Rajamouli wrote- ‘Sir, through out this Oscar campaign my brother maintained a calm composure. whether it is before winning or after he didn’t let his emotions out. But, the moment he saw this, he couldn’t control the tears rolling down his cheeks..most memorable moment for our family..Thank you so much..’
Keeravaani also took to his social media handles and thanked Richard for his surprise video. Expressing the same, Keeravaani wrote- ‘This is something I didn’t expect at all ..tears rolling out of joy. Most wonderful gift from the Universe.’
It is known that Naatu Naatu from RRR has recently won the oscar in the Best Original song category. The Prestigious award was received by Keeravaani and Chandra Bose in the presence of the RRR team along with many film personalities from all around the world.
