Hyderabad: BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) held a key meeting with party leaders at his Erravalli farmhouse on Friday, outlining the party’s future course of action. He criticized the Congress government, stating that Telangana’s people are facing difficulties after being misled by unfulfilled promises. KCR asserted that the public now recognizes the Congress’ governance and is prepared to support BRS whenever elections take place.
Marking 25 years since the party’s formation, KCR announced grand silver jubilee celebrations across Telangana on April 27. As part of the event, he proposed a large public meeting in Warangal with an estimated one lakh attendees, adding that the venue would be finalized soon.
KCR emphasized that the silver jubilee celebrations would involve the entire Telangana society. Following the Warangal event, BRS plans to strengthen its grassroots presence by forming new committees and increasing youth and women’s representation within the party.
