Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, who has the habit of traversing multiple genres, is now attempting a spy thriller in the form of his upcoming film Devil. The first glimpse of Devil revealed that the Bimbisara actor is going to be seen as a secret British agent who is on a purposeful mission to unravel a mystery. It is a period drama set in the backdrop of the pre-independence era when Britishers ruled India.
The makers of Devil announced that it will hit the screens on November 24th. The poster presents Kalyan Ram in a dashing avatar while holding a gun. It features some inscrutable designs and language preferably the code language of the secret agent. The film stars Samyukta Menon as the female lead.
Directed by Naveen Medaram, Devil has its story by Srikanth Vissa and cinematography by Soundarajan. Abhishek Pictures is the production house behind this film.
Kalyan Ram scored the biggest hit in his career with Bimbisara. He is once again coming up with an interesting film and the makers have chosen an ideal date because no other big-ticket film is targeting the box office in the last week of November. So, Devil has a good chance to take a strong opening.
