One of the most hyped projects of the Indian Movie Industry, Kalki 2898 AD is in a huge dilemma regarding its release date. Since it lost on 9th May due to the elections, the movie’s team is deliberating on the new release date with all its partners and distributors.
Kalki 2898 is a huge science fiction film which is made with a whopping 500 crores of budget by Aswini Dutt so the makers are keen on having a perfect release without any competition with other Pan Indian movies. Initially, they wanted to push the movie towards the year’s end but the distributors across India and the OTT partner Netflix are asking the makers to pick a date in either the first week or second week of June.
The director Nag Aswin meanwhile is getting the post-production works done just in case they go for the release in June. Soon they will announce the new release date of this Pan-Indian sci-fi thriller of Rebel Star Prabhas.
