Trump Warns of “Total Destruction” for Iran

US President Donald Trump issued a severe warning on Saturday, stating that Iran is under heavy attack. He claimed that because of Iran’s “bad behavior,” new targets inside the country are being considered, which could lead to widespread “total destruction and death” in places not previously hit.

How the Conflict Escalated

The fighting began after the US and Israel jointly attacked Iran, reportedly killing Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and destroying important infrastructure. Iran fought back with missile and drone strikes on Israel and several Gulf countries that host US military bases, such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, and Bahrain.

Iran Apizes to Neighbors, But Strikes Continue

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian offered a rare apology to nearby Gulf states for the attacks, even as more missiles and drones were launched. This suggests Iran’s political leaders might not fully control the military. Pezeshkian also dismissed Trump’s calls for Iran to surrender, standing firm amid the turmoil.

Trump Boasts on Social Media

In a post on Truth Social, Trump took credit for Iran’s apology, saying Iran has been “beaten to HELL” and forced to surrender. He claimed Iran promised to stop attacking neighbors only because of relentless US and Israel pressure. Trump declared Iran is no longer the “Bully of the Middle East” but the “LOSERS OF THE MIDDLE EAST,” predicting it will stay weak for decades until it collapses.

More Threats and Ongoing Violence

Trump hinted at immediate further attacks, saying Iran “will be hit very hard today” and that there is serious talk of destroying new areas and groups. Meanwhile, Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guard Corps announced yet another wave of missile and drone attacks on Israeli positions and other targets, showing the conflict is still heating up and worrying global markets.
