In A Year, Most coalition MLAs Face An Adverse public!

Sunday, July 13, 2025

Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s caution to the party MLAs he is keenly observing their performance and warned them to remain as `one-time MLA’ indicates that most of the ruling coalition MLAs are facing adverse public in their respective constituencies.

In a teleconference two days ago, it may be significant that soon he will discuss with each MLA individually on how to improve their performance. It may be recalled that more than half of MLAs are first time MLAs. Moreover, most MLAs are not known as long-standing activists of the TDP.

As a result, the gap between them and the hard-core TDP cadre is said to be widening at the field level, which is causing more concern to Chandrababu. So, he alerted them to improve their style of functioning.

In addition, various latest surveys are shocking the coalition government that has completed a year of rule. The survey companies, which had said with certainty that the coalition would definitely win in the last election, are now revealing with statistics that the situation is completely changing. The people who suffered a crushing defeat for the YSRCP in the elections held last year.. have completely supported the coalition. Out of 175 seats, they have secured victory in 164 seats.

Recently, the famous survey company Rise has revealed its predictions about what the people of North Andhra think about the coalition government. Praveen Pullata, who runs the Rise survey company, recently shared these details in his X account.

He revealed that there is clear opposition to 17 coalition MLAs in the North Andhra region alone. He said that there is strong opposition to 9 of them. The Rise company is preparing to release the figures for the remaining three regions soon. With this, the Rise survey results do not seem to be sure to be swallowed by the leaders of the coalition parties.

In fact, there is one key thing in common in what the survey companies are saying. The important point here is that the opposition to MLAs is higher compared to the performance of the government.
