analysis
Gaayapadda Simham, Director: Kasyap Sreenivastarts with a simple wedding backdrop Faria Abdullah And Tharun Bhascker. After getting into the backstory, current issues like stamping in the US and deportation of Indian students are presented in an entertaining way.
The idea is fine, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired, as the entire first half focuses on the hero's attempt to take revenge on US President Donald Trump using black magic.
This idea isn't compelling, but the director could have used it to show the aftermath of the hero trying such silly things. Instead, he drags the idea out to the end, which offers no entertainment apart from a little fun here and there.
The characters played by JD Chakravarthy And Sree VishnuThe extended cameos hint at something interesting when they're introduced, but both are wasted on unclear proceedings after the fact.
The scenes where the police confront the hero and the JD Chakravarthy gang fail, and the final section is bogged down by ineffective parodies that fail completely.
Positive
- Some comedy scenes with Donald Trump
- Mild intrigue before introducing Sree Vishnu's character
Negatives
- Lack of an interesting script for an unconventional plot
- For the most part, comedy doesn’t work
- Unattractive parodies of several films
- Weak impact of characters and writing
Gaayapadda Simham Review – Final Verdict
Gaayapadda Simham misses the chance to be an unusual entertainer and delivers very few exciting parts while the rest of the film seems pointless and silly. Even the talented actors like it Tharun Bhascker, JD Chakravarthy And Sree Vishnu (in a cameo) couldn't save this sinking ship.
