The Andhra Pradesh government has launched WhatsApp Governance for the first time in the country under the name of Mana Mitra. It has been introduced to provide various types of civil services to the people easily. With this, it has put an end to the practice of citizens roaming around government offices for certificates.
In the first phase, 161 civil services are being provided to the people with the help of WhatsApp chat bot. In the next phase, 360 services will be provided. In the first phase, the government has provided the opportunity to get services related to darshan, room booking and donations in various temples through this WhatsApp chat bot.
The government has linked the WhatsApp number of civil services introduced by the government 9552300009 to the famous temples. In addition to the Vijayawada Durga Malleswara Swamy Temple, which is known as the second largest temple in the state, there are important temples like Srisailam, Srikalahasti, Simhachalam, Annavaram, and Dwaraka Thirumala.
You can book tickets for darshans and pujas within their scope. For this, send a message saying Hi to the government WhatsApp number 9552300009 and you will get the details of the temples. After that, you will see information about the darshans, pujas, donations, and other aspects of the services provided by the temple in the selected temple.
You can see it in Telugu or English. Complete the details in it. In the service list, details like date, time slot, name, Aadhaar, gotram, and date of birth should be entered. After that, if the person checks the details of the pujas and fees and clicks OK, the cash payment gateway will appear in the digital mode.
As soon as the cash payment is completed, a message will be sent to the ticket payer’s WhatsApp number. This system has been made available so that devotees can download this ticket, take a printout and go to the relevant temples. Devotees are already being made aware of the services and darshans at Indrakiladri in Vijayawada to utilize it.
