BJP MP Etala Rajender stated that the people have entrusted Prime Minister Narendra Modi with power for a third consecutive term, while criticizing the opposition’s approach in Parliament. Addressing the media in Gajwel, Siddipet district, on Sunday, he emphasized that the public recognizes Modi’s leadership as crucial for India’s economic strength and global standing.
Rajender highlighted that in the recent Telangana Assembly elections, Congress secured 44% of the votes, while the BJP garnered 30%. He expressed confidence that the upcoming MLC elections in Telangana would further reflect public support for Modi. He also underscored the BJP’s efforts in supporting teachers and the middle class, asserting that the party has consistently worked for their welfare.
Discussing unemployment, Rajender noted that the issue is a global challenge, not limited to India. He credited Modi’s leadership for India’s economic rise from the 11th to the 5th largest economy and stated that the BJP government has allocated ₹4 lakh crore in the budget to address unemployment. He further remarked that Modi’s leadership has gained international recognition, with global leaders, including the U.S. President, acknowledging his contributions.
On Telangana’s governance, Rajender stated that while it took nine years for people to become disillusioned with KCR’s administration, they have lost faith in Chief Minister Revanth Reddy’s government within just nine months. He alleged that Telangana’s financial crisis resulted from KCR’s mismanagement, accusing the previous administration of relying on central government funds while pushing the state into debt.
Rajender also criticized KCR for questioning the Congress government’s performance, stating that officials themselves have admitted to following KCR’s directives regarding the Kaleshwaram project. He further noted that the BJP remains committed to social justice, highlighting that over 30 out of 70-plus ministers in the Modi-led central government are from backward classes.
