A case has been registered against the YSRCP leader Pinnelli brothers in the Gundlapadu double murder incident in Palnadu district. The police said that a case has been registered against the Pinnelli brothers under Section 302. It is known that some more people from the same party killed TDP leaders in Palnadu, which was peaceful after the general elections. However, local MLA Julakanti Brahma Reddy and locals allege that the Pinnelli brothers, former YSRCP MLAs from Macherla, are behind these murders. To this extent, the police have recently registered an FIR in this regard. While a case has been registered against a total of seven people, it seems that four accused are already in police custody.
Meanwhile, AP TDP President Palla Srinivasa Rao said that the brutal murder of TDP workers Venkateswara Rao and Koteswara Rao in Palnadu has deeply disturbed him. He expressed deep anger that Pinnelli’s close associates brutally murdered TDP leaders with hunting axes. He was furious that Pinnelli’s followers were trying to disrupt the peaceful Palnadu. He said that Pinnelli’s followers were reviving factional politics.
He warned that there was no room for factional politics in the coalition government and asked the police to take immediate action against Pinnelli and his followers. Palla Srinivasa Rao assured that the TDP will stand by the victims’ families.
When Javisetty Venkateswarlu alias Moddayya from Gundlapadu and his brother Javisetty Koteswara Rao were returning to their village on a bike after attending a wedding in Huzurnagar district of Telangana state. At around 5 pm, when they were approaching Bodilaveedu in Veldurthi mandal of Palnadu district, a Scorpio vehicle came at a high speed, hit their bike and dragged it away.
