Story
Munna (Harshith Reddy) is a boy who lives in the old town. Even though he has completed his studies, he is not trying to find a job. His daily routine consists of spending time with friends and arguing with locals.
On a fateful day, Munna falls in love with Amulya aka Ammu (Manimeghalai laughs) at first glance. He looks for her and finds that she works in a Mee Seva center. He pursues her daily with multiple excuses, but she doesn't respond to his advances. He tries to get an answer from her and she challenges him in return.
What is this challenge? Does Ammu really love Munna? How do his parents react to his actions? Answers to all these questions form the core of Deewana.

Harshith Reddy is perfect as an Old City Boy. He also manages to show emotions appropriate to the situation. actress Manimeghalai laughs debuts with this film and she does her role well and also adds emotional weight to the film.
Lead actor Naresh has a few scenes to his credit where he does well, and you feel like he could have been used better. Jhansi is natural in her mother's role, while Venu Yeldandi makes itself felt with a decisive scene in the second half. Raghu Karumanchi, Jeevan Reddyand other actors who played the roles of hero friends are sufficient.

Directed by Srikanth Sangishetti, 'Deewana' looks like any other love story from Telugu cinema, just with a different twist. The story is about what happens after a girl comes into the life of a young man who roams recklessly with friends.
The first half shows the hero's aimless lifestyle with scenes of his friends and local battles. The scenes where Hero follows and pursues Ammu are also routine, although a few funny moments work well. Near the break, the director gives a big twist that changes the atmosphere of the film.
Of course, the second half takes a serious turn. The police station scene is emotional and some scenes with Hero and his parents work well after that. Similar to Dacoit, Deewana relies on emotional depth in the final parts. Munna's efforts to get a government job and his struggles look cinematic. The drama surrounding Heroine's decision works well, and the climax, where an expected but poignant revelation takes place, ends the film on a good note.
